All your precious shadows Chill you to the marrow Lengthy times before it Still you can't ignore it One life is too many Sense are regressing Cut your hair to see it No one else can be it Everyone sees that this world is hard-to-live If you just cared then maybe you'd start to give When you wash your face and you look in your eyes Know when you listen it's not a big surprise All of the world is as tired and beautiful If your words were pictures There would be no mixture Black and white surrounding Faithful to your drowning Colors of your actions Lead you into traction When your mind is sinking What could you be thinking?
2.
Hurt Corner 02:47
Why does the thought surround me? Lethargy walls and trembling feet A sister who shouldn't cry Centuries of a shifting Mindbodysoul no lifting The dead were given this by-and-by Softer than a silhouette The memory of a cigarette And one more time to please forget The signs of wild and clear (The sounds of hollow and near) Maybe the darkness hardens Or opens doors to blood in a garden Where guests should never be Cleaning a room is so scarred Walking in doors but looking to yards A ward to keep people free
3.
The gift they gave me Was small, patient, and ungainly It waited twenty years to implode I wrapped and unwrapped myself in a shoelace Unaware of the point of the node They came and kissed me on the cheek I lay back to plastic sleep
4.
Forest Parts 02:08
I hold to you an ashen branch burning on Further and further every day Embering always never gone I sound to you a broken pond's metal knell And there is nothing left to say That could ever break this guarded spell Someone is worsening Someone is fastening Can we feel that Something is happening Something is listening Can we see that Something almost always guides you Something almost always chides you Someone is buckling Someone is running fast Can we touch that Somebody's rainbow broke Somebody's light is low Can we taste that Someone's always there to find you Someone's always there to bind you A body bursts and cracks and aches at the sight Hold a greenhew while walking by On all the streets it would take flight A battered tree looks everywhere for help now Red, muddy hands sure sign of hate Don't ask don't tell we'll never allow
5.
Cicatrix 02:09
Time creases on itself some more So my wrist cracks to bed and floor The ailing lake is back again Salting for everyone who can't Wind-formed migration Cold lightning nation Undust to have none Which is the real one? The hunter is inside the house Can anyone help me get out? I exit like a fire escape Window of new, the thunder quakes
6.
The moon is slightly small From where I find myself now She said to break some legs The cruelest thing from her mouth Pronouncing music's all We were ever good at Her hens were laying eggs While I struggled with a death mask And then I pulled away And she was going, gone To San Francisco bay And everything was wrong wrong wrong Still waiting the return Of the sullen mission Where winter is a burn Of temporary fiction But I would walk across If I had a token To where the movie ends Or the beginning of an ocean
7.
Heliotrope 01:28
A field in monochrome To level off alone The biggest willow bristles the tempered yard A meadow doesn't lie Outside is fifty five A swallow cries as we walk to what we are I see a fly too slow For what I have in tow A packing bag in a pile of birthday cards
8.
Far Cry 02:44
The shore was crackling Late winter by the sea I couldn't bleed again Shiver close a risen friend And if we'd ever touched It would have been too much Pennied bruises took me there It was mine to be threadbare Handle it delicately Like a phantom body His voice came so loud back then I mined the fire hope not again But yet we didn't know Which month would come to grow As barren as a bed To wrest my foggy head Black with some tender aches I didn't leave awake The mist, it spoke to me Said he was mine to need
9.
Tethered 02:30
I wrote the word "targe" in my pocket today As the gray descended still An ink-tapped present given to myself In a moment of distant guild Lives that are woven one breadth at a time Three years ago I lost how to talk Today I found again because of Tiny music and laughter stalking me to say My clothes are still beside my chair In wrinkles left inside No hair to shield me from the sun And still marooned the pain't begun And if there were lies growing out of my tree I would stand and cut them off But the risk of seeming natural relies on Knowing when and where to stop Under the flames there is a cavernous rock With some lines holding yellows down Earth tones are there too within the Remembrance of a speckled brown as if to say Be truth to what you tell Or else a brush of wind could well The helmet is forever on a wall Until I feed its beck and call
10.
Whisper Doll 02:09
I am a ripe desert I keep myself warm and dry Car rides and blanket maps Hiding has gone awry Smile wide so we learn The home of unwavering bait Pick up a vegetable And watch it disintegrate
11.
Make it Sing 03:05
This heart cannot contain me The words collapse as I speak What I need most is not here No one knows when it is near Make it sing Make it sing Say nothing Make it sing When water comes to reflect The weeds mutate at my neck Don't take me back to where I'm from This orison is so young

Almost Alone 01:54
How could there be another one? Why should there be another one? In spit of all I've heard In light of all I've heard I'm almost alone How could there be another one? When would there be another one? In that moment I was And in this moment I am almost alone
